HMSA Biki Stop Installed

12/15/2017

A new Biki Stop has been added to Honolulu’s bikeshare network! Riders can find this 15-dock Biki Stop directly outside Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) on Keeamoku and Rycroft Street.

We are excited to expand our capacity in this area to enable more riders to get to the surrounding workplaces, restaurants and shops.

In addition to HMSA’s headquarters, nearby businesses include Walmart, Fresh Ahi Off the Boat, 88Pal Supermarket, Chicken Factory, Yogurstory, Sorabol BBQ and Like Like Drive Inn, and Teapresso.

HMSA has been a major supporter of Bikeshare Hawaii since the planning phases. As an organization dedicated to providing sustainable heath care and promoting wellness, they were interested in a bikeshare station and poured a concrete pad to accommodate the equipment. We’re happy to provide employees and patients of HMSA with a healthy and convenient alternative to get to and from work and appointments.
