You will generate a release code using the website or app. First you must select the station you are getting a bike from. Confirm the station number on your screen matches the number on the side of the kiosk on the top, found at the station you are at. Then click the unlock button to get a 5 digit code. Codes will only work at the station you select and are good for 5 minutes. You will enter your release code at any dock with available bikes. The light will turn from yellow to green, indicating it is time to remove the bike. Tip: Gently lift the bike by the seat to undock the bike

How do I release a bike?

Make sure to choose a bike that does not have a red light already lit on the dock. This red light indicates that the bike needs to be serviced. When checking out a bike, once you enter your card, wait until you see the green light before you take the bike out. When you do receive the green light, grasp bike by the seat, lift in the air making sure the back tire is off the ground, and drop bike, it will bounce out of the dock.

If you have a bike out, you must return the bike before you are able to take out another bike.

Do you want to keep enjoying your ride beyond your plan allowance of 45 minutes? No problem! Each time you ride longer than 45 minutes, we will automatically charge $5.25 for each additional 30 minutes or fraction. For example, if you ride for 55 minutes you'll be billed $5.25 for that extra 10 minutes. Ride for 95 minutes and an additional charge of $10.50 will be added for that trip.

Everybody Rides

Everybody Rides is a program, subsidized by Secure Bike Share, that brings affordable bikeshare access to local residents. Eligible Kama'āina can apply for enrollment and receive unlimited 30 minute Biki rides for only $10 per month. Through this initiative, we aim to increase access to bikeshare and reduce the cost burden of transportation.

Meeting the eligibility criteria is necessary for enrollment, and approval is required before purchase.
